It is our pleasure to present the Fortuna Hotel, situated in the city centre, near the largest and most beautiful square in Europe, called the Main Market Square in Cracow. We neighbour on the oldest college in Poland – the noble Jagiellonian University, and the Planty Park (a unique urban garden, which surrounds the oldest part of Cracow).

The Fortuna Hotel is located in a renovated, nineteenth-century tenement building, which years ago housed the famous Male High School run by the Piarists. Opposite the hotel, there is the Hutten-Czapski Palace, property of the National Museum, which has its seat just a stone’s throw away.

INFORMATION ON THE ROOMS

The Hotel offers its Guests 25 rooms, with bathroom, satellite TV, radio, telephone, and wireless Internet access. We have 3 single rooms, 15 double/twin rooms, 5 triple rooms and 2 luxury suites. At our Guests' request, we make the following facilities available in the rooms: kettle, hair drier, ironing items. The Hotel adapted to suit the needs of the disabled.

INFORMATION FOR TRAVELLERS

The Fortuna Hotel's situation in the very centre of Cracow allows our Guests to both easily commute to the Old Town, and to explore it on foot. We are only 3 minutes' walk from the Cracow Market Square. Our Hotel is situated 100 m away from the Old Town, and less than 1 km from the Main Railway Station and the Bus Terminal. Handy public transport means include buses: 124, 152, 424, and trams: 15 and 18. Another great facilitation is a straightforward journey from the Balice airport - by bus no. 192 within 30 minutes, or by a taxicab within 15 minutes. We help our Guests to organize transport from the Balice airport, and from the Katowice-Pyrzowice airport.
Proximity of the Cracow colleges and permanent conference facilities is a great convenience, especially for our business and conference Guests.

FREE TIME

We will help you plan your free time.
We can organize a sightseeing tour around the Cracow Old Town and Kazimierz, a trip to the Wieliczka Salt Mine, and camps in Auschwitz-Birkenau.
At special request, we can organize an expedition to any place near Cracow. We cooperate with car and bicycle rental companies.
We can book tickets to a theatre, cinema, opera, or a concert hall, as well as to a classic or Jewish music concert.
We will try to aid you in any issue, even an untypical one.

GASTRONOMIC SERVICES

We invite you to the hotel "Rubinowa" ("Ruby") Restaurant, which serves delicacies of the Polish cuisine. Our restaurant is open from 6.30 till 22.00. The hotel breakfast is served in the form of a smorgasbord between 6.30 and 10.00, and latecomers are invited for the "Breakfast for Sleepyheads" available until 12.00 in the form of a set from the menu.
We offer a dining room with 40 seats.
The Guests of our hotel shall be granted a 10% discount, excluding beverages and alcohol. We spare no effort to make our guests feel special and to treat them individually.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION ON THE HOTEL

We have a small, inner car park.
The offer of our Hotel contains also a small, air-conditioned conference room, fully equipped, which can accommodate about 35 persons. We propose cinema, classroom and semicircle layout.
Equipment: flipchart, screen, slide projector, transparency projector, multimedia projector, and Internet access.

Price per 1 hour - PLN 50.
Price per whole day - PLN 400.

Coffee service:
- for PLN 17: coffee, tea, mineral water, cookies,
- for PLN 20: coffee, tea, mineral water, juice, cookies, salty sticks.

For the Guests who use the coffee service and lunch, the room rental price is PLN 200 for the entire day.
For the Guests who also stay overnight, we also offer other attractive price proposals. Our room is a perfect place for meetings, trainings and mini-conferences.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION

- The hotel day starts at 14 and ends at 12 o'clock of the following day.
- Cost-free individual cancellation until 18 o'clock on the day of arrival.
- A group booking requires an advance payment and additional arrangements.
- Children under 12 overnight free of charge in their parents' room (excluding breakfast).
- Additional bed cost: PLN 30 out of season, PLN 40 during season.
- Children's bed free of charge.
- The "Rubinowa" Restaurant is open from 6.30 till 22.00.
- Additional breakfast costs PLN 25 (smorgasbord).
